5月29日〜30日の2日間、イギリス・ロンドンのVictoria Park Plaza hotelにて「Open Mobile Summit conference」が開催される。
「Open Mobile Summit conference」はモバイル向けのサービス、コンテンツ、プラットフォーム、決済サービスなどの分野で活躍するキーマンが集うカンファレンスイベント。「Commerce, Retail and Brands」「Entertainment and Media」「Apps and Innovation」「Analysts, Agency and Enterprise」「Operators」「Connected car, home and wellness」の計6テーマの元多くのセッションが開催される。登壇者はFoursquareのVPであるHolger Luedorf氏、AmazonのApp Store部門ディレクターのAaron Rubenson氏、Layar CEOのRaimo Van der Klein氏、Gameloftのパブリッシング部門SVPのGonzague De Vallois氏、Disneyのデジタルゲーム部門VP&GMのJeff Jones氏など。
